Only 25 years ago, a farmer was looking for shelter during a storm when he stumbled across what is now known as the largest cave in the world. Prehistoric and epic in every way, this cave is like none you have ever seen before. Six hundred feet high, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in Vietnam is a magical place.
Ho Khanh, Howard and his partner Deb have been researching it since then and soon after it was foun, it was named Hang Son Doong. It’s so big you could fit a skyscraper inside and is full of wildlife.
Only 500 visitors are permitted to go inside each year.
It costs approximately $3,000 for a one week adventure tour.
It’s out of my budget but christ, it looks unreal !
